Mulberry Trees

We discovered last week that the mystery tree in our front yard is a black mulberry tree. So, I decided to try my hand at making mulberry jam — much to my husband’s amusement when he discovered that I had never tasted a mulberry before. (it turns out, I really like mulberry jam)
So, I’m trying to figured out what else to do with all the mulberries. Even though we picked more than 8 cups for the jam, our tree doesnt look like we even made a dent. Maybe I could dye something….its seems like a waste to just let them fall off the tree and dye the ground purple…
